Denmark Regulators Announced New Bonus Rules
The Danish Gaming Authority (Spillemyndigheden) recently introduced a new regulation regarding bonuses and player benefits. The new rule stated that all bonuses and promotional offers must be available for at least 60 days.
Following the executive order, the Danish gambling regulator has to revise the regulations regarding advertising for online casinos, land-based betting, or online betting. This is to bring more benefits to the players, as they are entitled to claim the bonus without any additional terms and conditions.
Earlier, Spilemyndigheden also announced they would relax their testing requirements. Company experience requirements have been lifted, and qualified test operators now have more certification alternatives.
According to the Danish Gambling Authority (Spillemyndigheden), channelization to licensed gambling reached a new high of 90% in 2020. The Gaming Market in Figures 2020 report states that channelization increased from 88% in 2019 to 92% in 2020.
