In June 2024, New Jersey's gaming revenue amounted to $491 million, reflecting a 7.4% increase compared to the same month last year. This brings the state's total revenue for the year to $3.06 billion.

According to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, the total gaming revenue is categorized into three main sections. The first section, total casino winnings, saw a 1% rise from last year, with the nine casino hotels in New Jersey generating $244.1 million in June. This brings the year-to-date total for casino winnings to $1.36 billion.

However, sports betting revenue experienced a decrease of 9.5%, falling from $66.4 million in June 2023 to $60.1 million in June 2024. Despite this decline, the overall revenue from sports wagering for 2024 is still 30% higher than the previous year, totaling $573.1 million so far.

Internet gaming winnings experienced a significant boost, with revenue reaching $186.8 million in June 2024, a 25.2% increase from $149.3 million in June 2023. The annual total for internet gaming has also risen by 21.4%, reaching $1.13 billion.

In May 2024, New Jersey's gaming revenue had already shown an 8.3% increase compared to the previous year, highlighting the state's growing participation in the national gaming market.
